Zoom Meeting
Free Event for Educators, Students, & Community Members
Chhange's second Virtual Lunch & Learn discussion, Personal Survivor History: Helena Flaum will introduce you to one of our local Holocaust Survivors. Helena was a Hidden Child during the Holocaust, and while she survived to emigrate to the United States and rebuild her life, her family was murdered at Belzec Death Camp. Learn more about Helena's life before, during, and after the Holocaust, and see how you can share her testimony with your students, family, and friends.
Chhange's Administrative & Exhibit Coordinator, Ally Evans, will lead this Lunch & Learn Discussion on Helena's history, utilizing testimony and our online Personal Histories platform. This is a great opportunity for educators to learn more about Chhange's Survivor Curriculum Suitcase program and explore the Personal Histories website as a virtual learning tool for your students. Community members are invited to attend to learn more about a Holocaust Survivor in our community.
