Refugees flee from violent and unlivable homelands. Those who survive perilous escapes often are unwelcome elsewhere in the world. There are more displaced men, women & children today, than at any time since World War II.
WHAT CAN WE DO?
Dr. Deborah Dwork, renowned scholar, social historian and educator recounts the compelling historical narrative about the struggle of refugees, their fierce opponents and their rescuers.
Sana Mustafa, a 25-year-old Syrian woman shares her life story as a refugee facing uncertainty and living alone without family, home or country to call her own.
