Holocaust Survivor Curriculum Suitcases
Individual Holocaust Survivor Curriculum suitcases are available for borrowing from Chhange. The suitcases allow middle and high school teachers to teach the Holocaust through the personal life histories of 11 local Holocaust survivors. Each individual survivor’s suitcase includes:
- A personal narrative of the survivor presented in a family scrapbook that tells the story through personal photographs, archival items and memorabilia
- Video of the survivor sharing moments of his/her experiences
- Echoes and Reflections – a multimedia curriculum on the Holocaust
- A timeline of the Holocaust and the survivor’s historical timeline
- Comprehensive lesson plans for each survivor story
- Materials provided in digital and hard copies
- Assistance from Chhange staff regarding use of the suitcase
Cost for Suitcases
- $75 per suitcase for 3 weeks
- $300 for 6 suitcases for 3 weeks
- $500 for all (11) suitcases for 3 weeks
Additional time is available for an additional charge as resources allow.
