40th Anniversary of the Cambodian Genocide
Chanty Jong was 8 years old when civil war erupted in her hometown of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Chanty survived the brutal regime of the Khmer Rouge, the terror of its leader Pol Pot, and ultimately escaped to the United States.
Join Chhange to hear Chanty’s testimony of her experiences during the genocide and her lifelong battle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Chanty joins us to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the collapse of the Khmer Rouge and the end of the Cambodian Genocide.
