For our 2023 Yom HaShoah Commemoration, Chhange is joined by Dr. Elizabeth Anthony, Director of Visiting Scholar Programs at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Dr. Anthony will share the research she conducted for her book, The Compromise of Return: Viennese Jews after the Holocaust, which explores the motivations and expectations that inspired Viennese Jews to reestablish lives in their hometown after the devastation and trauma of the Holocaust.

Chhange’s annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration includes music provided by the Marlboro High School Choir & Quartet, as well as a candle-lighting ceremony led by local Holocaust Survivors. Survivors are accompanied by service members from Naval Weapons Station Earle.
