Council of Holocaust Educators' Conference

Teachers from all over NJ attended the Council of Holocaust Educators' Conference Dec. 6 on the theme: "Constructive Dialogue: Effective Classroom Practices." Educators learned tools and ideas from Dr. Michael Berenbaum of American Jewish University (AJU), Frank Stebbins of Facing History & Ourselves, and Elaine Culbertson of Echoes & Reflections to address topics such as antisemitism in their classroom. This workshop was sponsored by Chhange, the Council of Holocaust Educators, the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education, and New Jersey Department of Education.
