Chhange’s 43rd Annual Colloquium

More than 300 students and educators from across New Jersey gathered May 21, 2025 at Brookdale Community College’s Collins Arena for Chhange’s 43rd Annual Colloquium: “The Art of Dialogue: Recognizing Humanity in Each Other.” Plenary speakers Asma Rasheed and Braden Chapman of Bridgeusa —two inspiring young leaders—shared powerful insights on the importance of listening with empathy and equipping students with the skills to navigate difficult conversations in a rapidly changing world.

Attendees then engaged in thought-provoking breakout sessions led by local Holocaust Survivors, 2nd gens, educators, scholars, and community activists, each fostering deeper understanding, reflection, and connection.

A truly moving day of learning and dialogue that reminded us of the power of human connection.

Chhange educates, inspires, and empowers individuals to stand up to injustice.
